Tips for best results

  • For the best results, sift powdered sugar and cocoa powder before adding to break up any clumps. If you don’t have a sifter, do your best to break up clumps with a fork before adding to the bowl.
  • Adjust the thickness of the frosting by adding more milk, one tablespoon at a time. Keep the frosting thick for piping and thin it out for frosting a cake to make it easily spreadable.
  • If the frosting is too thin, add more powdered sugar one tablespoon at a time.
