It’s no secret here on the blog that I might have a teensy-tiny obsession with OREO cookies, hello Dirt Cake, Mint OREO Truffles, and OREO Cheesecake! It’s just not fair that one cookie can be so darn delicious, am I right?
I have baked OREOs in cupcakes, made them into trifles, truffles-you name it, I’ve tried it! So it was pretty surprising to me recently when I realized I’ve never shared this oh-so-easy recipe for OREO fudge with you before.

This is one of those recipes I make, have a piece or two, then immediately have to gift to the neighbors…it’s just too delicious for me to keep in the house without eating it all in a day!
I love it because it only takes 3 ingredients and is pretty impossible to mess up. It’s also a great one for making with the kids because it’s so simple.
Ingredients
- sweetened condensed milk
- white chocolate chips
- OREO cookies
Step by step
This recipe is so easy!
- Prepare by lining a casserole dish with parchment paper.
- Take 4 OREO cookies and crush into fine crumbs, break the remaining OREOs into large pieces.
- Heat condensed milk and chocolate chips over medium heat in a saucepan, stirring constantly until melted.
- Mix broken cookies and chocolate mixture and pour into the pan.
- Top with OREO crumbs and chill to set.
I told you it was easy!
Tips for best results
- This fudge recipe comes together very quickly so have your ingredients ready before you start microwaving.
- Do not overheat the fudge, if overheated the chocolate will “seize” up and become dry and crumbly. You want it to heat just until the chocolate will melt as you stir.
Variations
- use lemon OREOs
- use regular chocolate instead of white chocolate
- use peanut butter OREOs and add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to the chocolate
- use mint OREOs and add 1/2 teaspoon of mint extract to the chocolate
I’m telling you-these are good, good, good.
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator up to 7 days.

Not a big white chocolate fan can you use milk or dark chocolate?
Yes that will work!
turned out great!
How long can i keep it in refrigerator?
I followed the recipe to the tee and they seem a bit over gooey compared to other fudges I’ve made, is this your usual outcome?
I’ve never had a problem with it, did you refrigerate it to set?
mines the same, top has gone hard however the rest is gooey, even left in the refrigerator over night.
Can I freeze these?
Yes, absolutely!! It freezes very well!
Can I use Nestles white morsel chips instead of white chocolate chips? Or can I use white chocolate baking bar, want to use stuff I have if possible, thanks
I’ve had issues getting the white morsels to melt without seizing up, that is why I recommended the chocolate chips. For some reason the white chips always seem to be the hardest to get a good melt on for me but if they melt well for you by all means, they will taste just as good! In the recipe you say to use 2/3 of the package of Oreo’s about (24 ) then you say to crush 4 in a bag add to chocolate mixture then you say to crush the last 4 oreo’s and sprinkle over the top ….where did the other 16 cookies go to ?…..where did you put them ?
Oh never mind I had reread the recipe and I seen where I messed up …sorry you did you all the oreo’s just used the last four for the top …. again sorry for not reading it properly …
