Dirt Cake Pie aka No Bake OREO Cheesecake
I’ve seen a lot of variations of this recipe around the internet, all coined No Bake OREO Cheesecake and I wanted to share my own version on it, especially since we’ve firmly established OREOs as my favorite dessert here on the blog. The thing is, when I eat this pie I don’t think cheesecake at all…this pie firmly screams DIRT CAKE in every which way. It’s actually very similar to my own Dirt Cake recipe (one of my blog’s most popular recipes) but with less ingredients! In fact, you only need 6 ingredients and about 10 minute (plus time to refrigerate) to make this amazing Dirt Cake Pie!
Ingredients:
- OREO Pie Crust (find in the baking section)
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup OREO cookies, crushed (plus extra for garnish if desired)
Don’t have cream cheese on hand? Make this 10-minute dirt cake without cream cheese instead!
Instructions:
In a stand mixer (affiliate link) (or using a hand mixer) combine Cool Whip, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until uniform. Stir in crushed OREOs and pour mixture into pie crust. Refrigerate at least two hours before serving. Garnish with extra crushed OREOs if desired, then stand back and enjoy the praise for making the best dessert ever.
