Description
A Cheeseball for dessert? Why not! This Funfetti Cake Mix Cheesecake Ball is the perfect dessert for entertaining. Just be careful-it won’t last long!
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 box Funfetti cake mix
- 1 2/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup sprinkles to coat
- graham crackers for dipping
Instructions
- Set aside a 24″ section of wax paper and small bowl to hold cheeseball while it chills.
- In a mixer beat cream cheese and butter on medium speed for 4-5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Reduce mixer speed to low and add in vanilla, cake mix, and powdered sugar until blended. The mixture will be quite thick.
- Form the mixture into a ball, wrap in wax paper and place in the bowl to help it retain it’s shape. Refrigerate for at least two hours or overnight.
- Place sprinkles in a shallow plate and carefully press the cheesecake ball into sprinkles to coat. Some sections may require you to press the sprinkles in with your hands in small sections, especially to get the last few spots without knocking off previously coated areas.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
