I don’t know if it’s the holidays or what but I’ve been feeling extra nostalgic lately. In particular thinking about my grandma whom I was very close with and who passed away ten years ago now. I was looking through old recipes of hers and found this one for Watergate Salad and instantly craved it-it had been years! For those not in the loop, this is a 1970s era desserts full of marshmallows, crushed pineapple, pudding mix and whipped cream but it’s more heavenly than it sounds!
I like to mix crushed almonds or pecans in mine but you can add whatever your favorite nut is or omit them all together, it’s still wonderful!Print
