I love seafood, growing up on the coast in Virginia and South Carolina, and now living in coastal Georgia has made it easy for us to access fresh seafood. However, that has not always been the case as the military moved us around!

Years ago I was craving my Nana's Crab Soup recipe and wasn't able to get crab meat but I came across Aquamar Surimi at Walmart. Surimi is crab-flavored seafood made from wild-caught Alaska Pollock and Pacific Whiting. I promise you, you cannot tell the difference! I was hooked!

Not only does the Aquamar Surimi taste just like crab, it is also sustainably and ethically sourced and a good source of protein with no saturated or trans fats. I've used it in crab cakes, dips, sushi, and my husband eats just on it's own as a snack! It always tastes delicious, making it no wonder Aquamar is America's #1 seller of shred style surimi!
