Sweet potato fries are one of my favorite side dishes, even more so than regular french fries. They are crispy, sweet, and savory, and dare I say good for you too!
What could make them any better? The perfect dip! While I prefer my copycat Zax sauce for regular fries, this is the best dipping sauce I’ve ever tried for sweet potato fries! It has the perfect flavor combo and gives a nice little kick.
Why I love this recipe
- it comes together in just a couple minutes
- simple ingredients, you probably have everything on hand already
- the flavor combination with the sweet potato make it a big hit
Ingredients
Just 4 easy ingredients!
- mayonnaise
- ketchup
- Worcestershire sauce
- paprika
Step by step
Simply whisk the ingredients together in a small bowl and enjoy!
I usually whip this great dip up after putting my crispy sweet potato fries in the oven or air fryer. It only takes a moment or two and I set it in the fridge until the fries are ready to let the flavors blend.
Variations
- You can sub part of all of the mayo with sour cream, plain Greek yogurt, or light mayo
- Add a spicy kick with a dash of hot sauce, chili sauce, chili powder, cayenne pepper, or even cajun seasoning
Storage
Store this fry sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Serving suggestions
Obviously I made this sauce to go with my homemade sweet potato fries but you can serve it with regular fries, sweet potato wedges, chicken tenders, or even use it as a sandwich spread. I also like to use it as a salad dressing with a simple green salad or dipping sauce for pizza crust, its just all around a great condiment!
