Creamy Garlic Herb Chicken

FOR THE CHICKEN:
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 2 teaspoons garlic powder – 2 teaspoons onion powder – salt & pepper – 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
FOR THE SAUCE:
– 2 tablespoons olive oil – ¼ cup white wine or chicken broth – 4 cloves garlic, minced – 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley – 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme – 1 ½ cups heavy cream – 1 teaspoon cornstarch
SEASON & COOK CHICKEN
Combine the onion and garlic powder in a small bowl. Coast chicken generously on all sides with mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken about 5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove to a plate and set aside.
PREP THE SAUCE
Add herbs and garlic to pan for 1 minute then deglaze with broth. Add cream and bring to a simmer. Thicken with a cornstarch slurry and serve over chicken.
Serve with pasta, rice, riced veggies, or roasted potatoes.
