Description
Rich, fudgy homemade brownies are topped with a chocolate frosting and crushed Thin Mint cookies for a simple yet indulgent treat!

- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 4 eggs
- 2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 Tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 oz . whipped chocolate frosting
- 1 sleeve (about 16 cookies) Thin Mint cookies, crushed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 by 11 inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl combine butter, eggs and maple syrup.
- Add cocoa, sugar, flour baking powder and salt and stir on low until combined.
- Pour into prepared dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- Allow to fully cool before frosting.
- Stir frosting well and spread over brownies. Top with crushed cookies.
Notes
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Freeze brownies by wrapping in two layers of aluminum foil and one layer of plastic wrap and keep in the freezer up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature overnight.
