Cool down with a refreshing glass of my homemade peach iced tea! Bursting with sweet, fruity flavor thanks to a homemade peach syrup, this easy recipe is perfect for summer sipping or any time you want a taste of sunshine.

For the Peach Syrup:

  • 2 peaches, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water

For the Peach Iced Tea:

  • 2 family-size tea bags
  • fresh mint
  • peaches, for garnish, optional

  1. In a small saucepan, bring sugar, water, and sliced peaches to a boil.
  2. Stir the mixture to dissolve the sugar, then remove from heat. Mash the peaches with the back of a spoon.
  3. Cover and let the syrup sit for 20 minutes. Afterward, strain it through a mesh to remove the peach solids.
  4. While the peach syrup is cooling, prepare the tea according to package directions.
  5. To serve, add the peach simple syrup to the tea to your taste and enjoy!
