Description

Strawberry Brownies are a fresh, fun new take on a classic dessert recipe! This recipe is so easy, with just a few simple ingredients like strawberry cake mix and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 large eggs

  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 tablespoons strawberry jam

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons milk

  • Strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray an 8 by 8 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

  2. In a large bowl or stand mixer (affiliate link), mix cake mix, oil, vanilla extract, cream cheese, and eggs until just blended. Pour batter into the prepared pan.

  3. Bake for 20-24 minutes or until middle is just set. Cool completely.

  4. Once cake is cool mix powdered sugar, jam, and milk to form a glaze. Spread over the brownies and garnish with strawberry slices before serving if desired.
