  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 4 carrots, sliced into thin rounds or batons
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat the Oven to 425°F.
  2. Into a large mixing bowl, place the broccoli florets and carrot slices.
  3. Pour olive oil over the veggies and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and turmeric. Toss everything thoroughly to make sure each piece is coated evenly.
  4. Spread the seasoned vegetables out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Ensure there’s enough space between them to allow for even roasting. Use two baking sheets if necessary.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes. Stir halfway to cook evenly and achieve a nice golden-brown color.
