  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer or in a stand mixer (affiliate link), combine the flour, salt, sugar, vanilla, softened butter, and pecans.
  3. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until theyโ€™re just starting to brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately roll each cookie in powdered sugar while warm.
  6. Let the cookies cool, then roll them in powdered sugar once more before serving.
