Description

This easy pea salad is a vibrant blend of sweet peas, crunchy veggies, and a creamy dressing. It’s simple, satisfying, and the perfect side dish for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp tablespoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp pink salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the peas, red onion, celery, red bell pepper, and cheddar cheese.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, dill, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and toss until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Before serving, taste and adjust the salt and pepper as needed. Garnish with additional fresh dill if desired.
  6. Serve the delicious pea salad as a side dish or enjoy it on its own. Enjoy!
