Description
Dinner just got a little tastier with the addition of these easy and delicious oven-roasted green beans. Tossed with a olive oil and spices and roasted in just 30 minutes, these roasted green beans are sure to be a family favorite!

- 1 lb fresh green beans
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash green beans and pat dry. Trim ends.
- Mix all ingredients except Parmesan in a large bowl and toss to coat.
- Spread beans in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast 10 minute, then use a spatula to turn green beans. Return to oven and roast another 10 minutes or until the beans reach your desired tenderness.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
Notes
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- If you have children, show them how to snap the ends of the green beans by hand and have them do this for you, they love it!
- If roasting the green beans along with other dishes in the oven you may need to add an extra 5 minutes to the cooking time.
