Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 thick cut pork chops
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Montreal steak seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel.
  3. Brush chops with olive oil and sprinkle liberally with Montreal steak seasoning on both sides.
  4. Bake 7 minutes per 1/2 inch thickness or until 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Allow meat to rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • If you don’t have Montreal Steak seasoning you can mix up your own with 2 teaspoons each paprika crushed peppercorns, kosher salt, and garlic powder with 1 teaspoon each onion powder, ground coriander, dill seed, and red pepper flakes
  • If you want the look of a sear you can broil the pork chops the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
