Description

Oreo Brookies sandwich whole Oreos between rich brownie batter and cookie dough. They are easy to make thanks to premade cookie dough, totally drool-worthy, and disappear in minutes!


Ingredients

  • 16 oz store-bought cookie dough
  • 14 Oreo cookies, plus extra, crushed, for topping
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet baking chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter, then transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Add both sugars and whisk until blended. Heat the mixture in 15-second bursts, stirring each time, until a glossy surface forms.
  3. Add the eggs, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil. Whisk until the batter is smooth and fully combined.
  4. Stir in the flour gently until no dry streaks remain, then fold in the chopped chocolate pieces.
  5. Pour about three-quarters of the brownie batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Arrange a layer of Oreos over the batter, followed by a layer of cookie dough.
  7. Top with the remaining brownie batter and sprinkle some crushed Oreos over the surface.
  8. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into squares. Serve and enjoy!
