- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 servings instant potatoes (along with milk and butter to prepare according to the box instructions)
- 1 packet brown gravy mix, plus water for preparation
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 12 ounce package frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoning salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile prepare the gravy and mashed potatoes according to package directions.
- Drain cooked ground beef of excess grease and return to the skillet. Add gravy, vegetables, broth, Worcestershire, and seasoning salt to the meat mixture and stir to mix. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Transfer the vegetable and meat mixture to a 8 by 8 inch or 9 by 9 inch baking dish.
- Top the meat with the mashed potatoes.
- Bake 30 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown and let sit 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days. Reheat in microwave.
