Description

This easy dill sauce is perfect for topping grilled or roasted fish, vegetables, or chicken. With just 6 simple ingredients, this sauce pulls together in just minutes and needs only 30 minutes of chill time for the flavors to combine.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Make sure your dill is fresh and finely chopped.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise (if using), dill, lemon juice, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This will also make the sauce thicker.
