Ingredients
- 1 package of Oreo Cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese
- candy melts, you can choose any colors
- sprinkles, optional
Instructions
Instructions
- Using a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs.
- In a mixer, blend the crushed cookies with softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Chill the dough for about 20 minutes until firm to make it easier to work with.
- Scoop the dough out in about 1/4 cup portions roll it into an egg shape and place them on a wax paper-lined tray.
- Melt the candy according to the package directions.
- Using a toothpick, dip and coat each truffle into the candy melts, tapping off any excess.
- Let the candy coating harden. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Freeze the dough for 1-2 hours and work in small batches when dipping. Frozen truffles are much easier to handle and give the best results!
- For a “fancy” finish, use frosting pens or edible markers. We had fun with what we had, but those tools give a cleaner look!
