Description

This incredibly moist cake combines a vanilla cake mix with instant pudding, warm spices, and a touch of white wine. It’s a delicious treat that everyone will love!


Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • (1) 3.4 ounce box vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 3/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup white wine

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup white wine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a 10 inch bundt pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, cinnamon, ¼ cup sugar, brown sugar, pudding mix, water, oil, and ½ cup white wine. Mix until just combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick stuck into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
  4. Place cake on cooling rack. Immediately melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the sugar and wine and stir to  mix.
  5. Poke holes in the bundt cake with a fork or wooden skewer. Pour the glaze over the cake and allow to soak in.
  6. Loosen the sides of the cake with a butter knife and invert onto a large plate or cake stand.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
