- 8 ounces + 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

- 3 eggs
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add in the first cup of chocolate chips and stir until melted and smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, add the melted chocolate mixture and sugars. Mix until well combined.
- Crack in the eggs and add the vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the baking powder, flour, salt, and cocoa powder until a thick dough forms.
- Stir in the remaining chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a 2-inch scooper, portion out balls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. You should fit about 8 cookies per sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 11-13 minutes, or until the tops of the cookies are crinkly and the edges are firm.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for at least 5 minutes before serving. These brownie cookies are best enjoyed warm and gooey!
