Description

This Waldorf Salad brings together fresh fruit, nuts, and a smooth, tangy dressing. Serve it on fresh lettuce leaves for a light and delicious side that everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 2 green apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 red apple, cored and chopped
  • 2 cups red grapes, halved
  • 3 sticks of celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • lettuce leaves, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar, and lemon juice, stirring until smooth and well mixed. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, place the chopped apples, grapes, celery, walnuts, and raisins.
  3. Pour the dressing over the fruit and nut mixture, then gently toss to coat everything evenly.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator until serving time, and serve the salad atop fresh lettuce leaves.
