Description

Cilantro chimichurri is a versatile sauce with countless possibilities! Whip up this effortless sauce for salad dressing, a flavorful dip for grilled meats and veggies, a marinade, and much more. Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh Italian flat-leaf parsley, leaves only, stems removed
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, leaves only, stems removed
  • 1/4 cup fresh oregano, leaves only, stems removed
  • 1/3 cup roughly chopped red onion or shallots
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
 

Instructions

  1. Pulse the fresh herbs, onion, and garlic together in the bowl of a food processor or blender (affiliate link) until roughly chopped.
  2. Add red pepper flakes, olive oil, vinegar, and lemon juice. Pulse 3-4 more times or until the texture you desire.
  3. Season to taste with salt and serve.
