Description
This bacon jalapeño deviled eggs recipe is a great combination of smoky and spicy flavors. Whether you’re looking for a delicious appetizer to serve for Easter, at your next party, or a quick snack on the go, these deviled eggs are sure to please.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs, hard boiled and peeled
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 jalapeño, stem and seeds removed, diced
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and finely crumbled
Instructions
- Slice eggs in half horizontally and remove yolk to a small bowl.
- Mash egg yolks to a fine crumble with a fork.
- Reserve 12 pieces of crumbled bacon for garnish if desired.
- Add mayonnaise, mustard, jalapeño, and remaining bacon to the egg yolks. Mix well.
- Spoon egg yolk mixture into a sandwich bag. Remove excess air from the bag and seal. Snip one corner of the bag to use for piping.
- Pipe egg yolk mixture into the hard boiled eggs.
- Garnish with bacon and refrigerate until serving.
Notes
If you do not want to pipe yolk mixture into eggs you can use a spoon to fill the eggs instead.
