Bacon Jalapeño Deviled Eggs

Description

This bacon jalapeño deviled eggs recipe is a great combination of smoky and spicy flavors. Whether you’re looking for a delicious appetizer to serve for Easter, at your next party, or a quick snack on the go, these deviled eggs are sure to please.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 eggs, hard boiled and peeled
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/2 jalapeño, stem and seeds removed, diced
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and finely crumbled

Instructions

  1. Slice eggs in half horizontally and remove yolk to a small bowl.
  2. Mash egg yolks to a fine crumble with a fork.
  3. Reserve 12 pieces of crumbled bacon for garnish if desired.
  4. Add mayonnaise, mustard, jalapeño, and remaining bacon to the egg yolks. Mix well.
  5. Spoon egg yolk mixture into a sandwich bag. Remove excess air from the bag and seal. Snip one corner of the bag to use for piping.
  6. Pipe egg yolk mixture into the hard boiled eggs.
  7. Garnish with bacon and refrigerate until serving.

Notes

If you do not want to pipe yolk mixture into eggs you can use a spoon to fill the eggs instead.
