instant pot BEEF STEW

– 1 lb beef stew meat – 2 tbsp all-purpose flour – 2 tbsp unsalted butter – 2 cups beef broth or beef stock – 5 large red potatoes – 1 medium yellow onion, diced – 1 cup carrots, chopped – 2 cloves of garlic, minced – 1 tbsp soy sauce – 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce – 2 tbsp tomato paste – salt and pepper to taste
Prep the Meat
combine meat and flour in a bowl and toss to coat brown on sauté mode in butter
add beef broth and scrape the bottom of the pot to deglaze, then add remaining ingredients and cook on stew mode 35 minutes
let pressure release naturally and season to taste with salt and pepper
