One of the first things I get the urge to do when the weather starts to warm up is to get started on my Spring Cleaning Checklist.  I love opening up the windows and giving the house a good thorough scrubbing.

It’s the time I finally tackle those areas that get neglected all winter-like wiping down all the doors and trim, or airing out the mattresses and decluttering drawers and closets.

How to Start Spring Cleaning

Unlike before I had kids there is really no way these days that I can get all of my spring cleaning finished in one day or even a weekend. I usually do it in bits and pieces over the course of a couple weeks as the weather starts to improve.

I’ve found that keeping a printable Spring Cleaning Checklist and crossing things off as I finish them helps me keep track of what I have and have not cleaned yet and helps keep me focused so that I can make the most of my time when cleaning.

In case you are like me, I created this pretty little checklist to help you along the way.
