Make your own Skinny Peppermint Mocha at home and save yourself money and calories! This holiday drink is under 75 calories and tastes amazing!

    skinny peppermint mocha latte

I've been baking and concocting recipes like a crazy person lately in preparation for the holidays and have some great ones to share with you-the first is today's Skinny Peppermint Mocha Latte-a tasty winter treat that won't leave you feeling guilty!

Just like my Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte I shared this fall, this recipe is light on calories and saves you a ton of money over buying expensive coffeeshop versions-and it's even easier to make than the pumpkin latte!

So what are you waiting for? Whip up this holiday mocha in just minutes!

    skinny peppermint mocha latte ingredients

    Ingredients

    • ⅔ cup skim milk
    • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, I used a Folgers Caramel Drizzle K-cup
    • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
    • 2 packages Stevia
    • ⅛ teaspoon peppermint extract
    • fat free whipped cream, white chocolate chips, and candy cane for garnish if desired

    Step by step

    {Hang on, we're getting complex here!}

    1. Add cocoa, Stevia, peppermint extract, and milk to coffee.
    2. Stir well.
    3. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate chips and crushed candy cane if desired.

Boom.  Mocha done! How easy, right?

    Recipe variations

    • Use a milk frother on the skim milk before adding to the coffee
    • Warm milk and cocoa on the stove until bubbly for a thicker consistency
    • Use cacao nubs instead of chocolate chips
    • Try dark chocolate cocoa to intensify the flavor
    • Add a coffee or mocha flavored protein powder to make it a meal
