Tips for best results

  • Be sure to choose a firm apple variety such as Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Gala or Fuji. Softer types of apples won’t stand up to the baking.
  • Swirl a knife through the batter if desired before baking if you want the apple chunks and cinnamon sugar more uniform through the bread.

  1. I made this today with 2 Granny Smith apples. I find GS to be bland so I small diced them and the cooked them in the microwave for 3 minutes. Added some brown sugar and cinnamon to them and let them rest. Made the batter, layered as directed and baked. I am very glad I seasoned and precooked the apples. I would definitely make this again the way I made it.

  2. I made this and is amazing! I added chopped walnuts but I also swapped the sugars out for splenda (both white and brown) and still perfect. Will definitely make again

  3. This was very good although to me could be a tad sweeter. I used half vegetable oil and half melted butter. I also added chopped walnuts and did do the knife swirl.
Your website has way too many ads and videos. Over the top!

  4. Turned out perfectly and so delicious, light and just the right sweetness. Gonna make more with my surplus of apples.

  5. Made this recipe last evening. Very easy to follow, I was surprised at how quickly everything came together. The bread wasn’t overly sweet but very moist and tender, delicious too, I might add. The only thing I would change is adding more apple flavor. Maybe next time I’ll add some fresh apple cider or apple sauce. Anyways, I’ll be making this again in the future.

  6. Hands down the easiest apple bread recipe- very flavorful. I use dark brown sugar which gave it a more caramel flavor. I’m going to see if this recipe works as muffins instead of a loaf.

  7. I made this recipe dairy free using olive oil butter and almond milk. It is THE BEST. Turned out perfectly and my family gobbled it up in one sitting. So freaking delicious. Thank you for this amazing recipe.

  8. Delicious! I changed the recipe a little bit. I substituted the eggs with applesauce which was soo good with the apple! I also added a half teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter and another half teaspoon to the cinnamon sugar mixture. I chopped up an extra apple and mixed half into the batter and the other half as a topping for an even stronger apple flavor. I found my bread to be underdone after 50 minutes and I baked for 15 more minutes, perfection!!! Absolutely delicious 🙂

  9. I’ve made your Apple Cinnamon Bread twice this week and the bread is delicious but it falls apart. What am I doing wrong?

  10. Found your recipe for Homemade
Apple Bread on Pinterest. I followed the recipe to the “T”.
Found out one thing with the ingredients. You have
    no Baking Soda in it.
Therefore, my loves came out like lead weights and no taste to them.

  11. This bread is amazing. I don’t usually leave comments but I had to share how delicious this is. Every time I make it my family practically inhales it. I learned really quickly to make 2 loaves if I expect to have any left the following day. 10/10 definitely a favorite in our home. Thanks for sharing such a great and easy recipe!

  12. I’ve got all but the apples to make this bread. What apples do you recommend using for your recipe?
I can’t wait to make it and share with my car club members 🙂
    Thank you!

    1. Granny Smith hands down. I tried it with Gala apples once bc it’s what I had available but they do not hold up the same.

  13. The recipe that prints is different from the recipe shown. The one that prints calls for 6 eggs and 3 large apples.

  14. I made the first one yesterday, then I baked another one today…..my husband ate half of it last night. It is very delicious and so very easy to make. I added half a cup of chunky applesauce to enhance the apple flavor. I would recommend this recipe to everyone! Thanks again for sharing.
